General Conditions of Sale

These general terms and conditions of sale (GTC) govern all contractual relations between Pass the Bread and its customers.

Article 1 - Purpose

1. Purpose

These General Conditions of Sale (hereinafter "GCS") govern the contractual relations between Pass The Bread , a sole proprietorship, SIREN 943243899 whose head office is located at 59 avenue du général de Gaulle 94160 Saint-Mandé, and any natural or legal person (hereinafter the "Customer") making a purchase via the Pass The Bread online sales site (hereinafter the "Site").

They define the rights and obligations of both parties in the context of the sale of second-hand products specializing in tableware (dishes, tablecloths, glassware, decorative accessories, etc.).

Any order placed on the Site implies unreserved acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions.

Article 2 - Orders

2. Products

2.1 Nature of the Products

Pass The Bread offers second-hand tableware for sale: crockery, tablecloths, glassware, cutlery, and decorative accessories. Each piece is unique and may show signs of use or age.

2.2 Selection and Quality

Each item is carefully selected to meet criteria of quality, aesthetics and durability.

2.3 Description of Products

For each product, a detailed description is provided, including:

  • High definition photographs , taken from multiple angles, showing the actual condition of the item.
  • Condition Description : Any notable wear or imperfections are noted.
  • Dimensions, capacity and materials where relevant.
  • Authenticity : For branded items, we undertake to verify their authenticity.

2.4 Packaging

Each order is prepared with the greatest care. The items are packed in sturdy boxes adapted to the size and fragility of the item , with specific protections (paper, cushioning, bubble wrap or equivalent) to guarantee their safety during transport.

The aim is to reduce as much as possible any risk of breakage or deterioration, even for the most delicate parts.


2.5 Availability

The catalog is regularly updated. Due to the unique nature of the pieces, a product may no longer be available after the order has been validated. In this case, the Customer will be immediately informed and refunded.


3. Price

Prices are shown in euros (€), all taxes included.

Delivery costs are not included in the price indicated: they are specified before the final validation of the order.

Pass The Bread reserves the right to change its prices at any time. However, products will be invoiced based on the prices in effect at the time of the order.


4. Order

4.1 Order process

The Customer selects the products of their choice and validates their basket. The order becomes firm after:

  • cart validation,
  • communication of necessary personal information,
  • full payment of the price.

A summary confirmation email will be sent to the Customer.

4.2 Refusal of order

Pass The Bread reserves the right to refuse any order for legitimate reasons, including in the event of a previous payment dispute or suspected fraud.


5. Payment

Payment is made in cash when ordering, by credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay or any other secure payment method offered on the Site.

In the event of refusal of payment authorization by the banking establishment, the order will be canceled.


6. Delivery

6.1 Delivery methods and areas

The products are delivered to the address indicated by the Customer when ordering.

Delivery methods offered include:

  • Standard delivery (3 to 7 working days on average),
  • Express delivery (1 to 3 working days on average),
  • Hand collection possible in Saint-Mandé, Paris 1, Paris 2, Paris 3, Paris 4, Paris 8.

6.2 Delivery costs

They are calculated based on weight, dimensions, and destination. Applicable rates are displayed before order confirmation.

6.3 Deadlines

The delivery times indicated are for information purposes only and may vary depending on the carrier, periods of high activity or exceptional circumstances (strikes, bad weather, etc.). Pass The Bread cannot be held responsible for delays beyond its control.

6.4 Reception

The Customer is required to check the condition of the package and products upon receipt. Any anomalies (missing, damaged, open package) must be reported immediately to the carrier and Pass The Bread customer service.


7. Right of withdrawal and returns

In accordance with Article L.221-18 of the Consumer Code, the Customer has a period of 14 working days from receipt of the product to exercise his right of withdrawal, without having to provide reasons or pay penalties.

Returns must meet the following conditions:

  • Product in original condition, unused, suitable for resale, with any accessories,
  • Return made in the original packaging (or equivalent),
  • Shipping by traceable means, at the Customer's expense and risk.

Returns must be reported by email to: passthebread.studio@gmail.com

The refund will be made within 14 days after receipt and verification of the returned product, via the same payment method as that used when ordering.

The initial delivery costs and return costs remain the responsibility of the Customer.


8. Legal guarantees

The products sold benefit from:

  • of the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L.217-1 et seq. of the Consumer Code),
  • of the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code).

The Customer has a period of 2 years to take action under the guarantee.


9. Liability

Pass The Bread cannot be held responsible:

  • indirect damages related to the purchase or use of the products,
  • delays or impossibility of delivery due to external causes (carrier, force majeure, etc.),
  • from the improper use of the products by the Customer.


10. Personal data

Pass The Bread complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – EU Regulation 2016/679) and the Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 .

The data collected is used only for processing orders.


11. Intellectual Property

All elements of the Site (texts, images, graphics, logos, trademarks, etc.) are protected by copyright and intellectual property law. They remain the exclusive property of Pass The Bread.


12. Applicable law and disputes

These T&Cs are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be preferred. Failing this, the French courts will have sole jurisdiction (Article R.631-3 of the Consumer Code ).
